How it works
The calculator rounds box quantities upward so you can order complete packs. Diagonal patterns, unusual room shapes and material batch variation may require a higher allowance.
Formula
Floor area = room length × room width. Boxes = ceiling[(floor area × (1 + waste percentage)) ÷ box coverage].
Worked example
A 5 × 4 m room is 20 m². With 10% waste and 2.2 m² per box, order 10 boxes.
